This course will help you use the wheel and tools confidently and safely. You can expect to make a selection of small cylinder and bowl shapes as a beginner. The class is limited to 3 participants so you are sure to get a lot of individual support from the tutor to help you progress through the lessons.It will also set you up nicely for joining our studio membership if you would like to continue practicing after the course.Each week consists of a 1hr 45min lesson with 15minutes reserved at the end for cleaning up.At the end of the course your pots will be fired a final time and ready for collection approx 2 weeks later.Class suitable for ages 16+-------------------------------The Venue: Creative Bloc Glasgow is a creative studio in Glasgow North-West.814 Garscube Road, G20 7ET.Public transport:First busses 60, 60A, 61 - Bluebird X10, X10A and West Coast Motors 17 all stop on Maryhill Road just 2 minutes walk away.Kelvinbridge and St Georges Cross underground are approx 17mins walk.Car:There is on-street parking on Garscube Rd and a small visitors carpark at the back entrance, accessed via Firhill Rd.Entrance to the studio is via one small step at the front door on Garscube road and there is level access from the car park at the back.
