Austere (Australia) return to the UK following their resurgence in recent years. Since forming in 2005, the duo has become synonymous with deeply emotional and expansive black metal, blending bleak intensity with moments of fragile beauty. Their music is both harrowing and cathartic, channeling themes of isolation and inner reflection into vast, immersive soundscapes.
Hypothermia (Sweden), founded by Kim Carlsson in 2001, have carved a distinct path through the genre with a meditative and hypnotic style of black metal. Their work emphasizes atmosphere and mood above all, exploring states of transcendence and melancholy through repetition and texture. Revered for their uncompromising vision, Hypothermia’s live performances are rare and profoundly affecting experiences.
