Take your dad on a stroll through the Maple Woods Nature Preserve Park. The trail is fairly easy. 

Celebrate Father’s Day in the forest as we search for early summer species like chanterelles and lobster mushrooms. This guided hike will focus on habitat awareness, identification tips, and responsible foraging practices. At the end of the foray, we’ll cook up any edible finds—along with some cultivated mushrooms—for a small tasting to close out the day. Bring the family and enjoy a meaningful outdoor experience together.
