Join us for an exciting Arrow of Light Cub Scout Invitation Weekend at Cedars of Lebanon State Park in Lebanon, TN, on November 14-15, 2025. This event, hosted by Troop 27 in College Grove TN, is your chance to explore Scouts BSA, connect with our troop, and work on Arrow of Light rank advancements in a fun, outdoor setting!
Event Details
• Host: Troop 27, based in College Grove, TN, part of the Middle Tennessee Council, Scouting America.
• Location: Cedars of Lebanon State Park, Lebanon, TN - Group Campsite
• Dates: November 15-16, 2025 (Saturday afternoon - Sunday).
• Purpose:
-Introduce Arrow of Light Cub Scouts to Troop 27 and Scouts BSA.
-Work on Arrow of Light advancements, including required and elective adventures.
-Build connections with Troop 27 members and prepare for the Scouts BSA transition.
What to Expect
• Scouts BSA Introduction: Learn about Troop 27’s programs, values, and how we live the Scout Oath and Law. Meets Arrow of Light requirements for visiting a Scouts BSA troop.
• Advancement Opportunities: Complete adventures like Bobcat or other skill-based activities, each about 60 minutes, designed to prepare Scouts for Scouts BSA.
• Camping Experience: Overnight camping with your Arrow of Light den or pack, supervised by Scouts BSA-trained leaders, following Scouting’s Safeguarding Youth Protection policies.
• Fun Activities: Enjoy outdoor skills like knot-tying, fire-building, nature hikes, or team-building games and more.

• Uniform: Wear the tan Scouts BSA uniform shirt with green bottoms.
