Join Upper Deep Creek Landcare Network for an information session on Equine Landcare.
Attendees will hear from guest speaker, Marianne Sawyer, president of the Yarra Valley Equestrian Landcare Group (YVELG) and member of the Victorian Equine Landcare Community of Practice, and Tina Keene, Vice President of YVELG.
YVELG formed in 2010 and is the longest running equine-focused Landcare group in Victoria.
Marianne will speak about the experience of setting up an Equine Landcare group, how they operate and set priorities, and the groups achievements over time.
We’d also like to hear from attendees if they are interested in being involved in a new Equine Landcare Group for the Macedon Ranges, and what the group should focus on.
This is a free community event, aimed at horse-property owners and people connected to the equine industry. This event is supported by Macedon Ranges Shire Council.
Morning tea will be provided.
