Death Café

Stop by enjoy cake and discuss death and dying in a relaxed environment. This is NOT a grief support group. This is a discussion group. The purpose of Death Café is to increase awareness of death and to help people make the most of their lives.

Everyone is welcome to this free event and no registration is needed.

A Death Café is a facilitated gathering where people eat cake, drink tea or coffee, and talk openly about death and dying in a safe space aiming to increase awareness of mortality to help people live more fully and intentionally. It's not a grief support group or therapy, but a discussion group focused on increasing understanding and acceptance of death as a natural part of life, exploring personal experiences, fears, and hopes around the topic. The movement started in the UK in 2011 and has spread globally, offering a chance to break the taboo around discussing death.
