"The Wonders of Physics": In-Person Badger Talk in Gillette, WI

This is a free, in-person event hosted on November 24, 2025 at 1:00 PM CDT by Gillett Public Library in Gillett, WI. No registration necessary for this event. There will be a Facebook Live stream of this event.

An educational and engaging physics show that comes to you! Demonstrations are customized to any age group and help explain the world around us. Our goal is to share our love of physics inspire the next generation of scientists.

Haddie is a UW–Madison alum with a B.S. in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. She joined the Department of Physics in August 2021 after a 20+ year career as a meteorologist at WISC-TV in Madison. As The Wonders of Physics program manager, Haddie develops and presents traveling physics shows to students and community groups all around the state. The shows are fun and engaging with the hope of inspiring the next generation of scientists.
