Tea party meets picnic… but make it all about cake.
Grab your picnic blanket, bring your sweet tooth, and join us for an afternoon of homemade cake, community, and sunshine!
How it works:
• Homemade cakes only — bring your best recipe, from heirloom classics to creative new flavors.
• Each cake will have a pretty placard with its name, flavor description, and any special notes. (I will post the placard blank)
• There will be separate tables for allergy-friendly and gluten-free cakes so everyone can enjoy safely.
• Taste as many as you like, then vote for your favorites in categories like Best Flavor, Most Creative, and Prettiest Cake.
•Cake walk and cupcake decorating for the kids
Special Touch:
Ladies are encouraged to wear their loveliest fancy garden dresses 🌸👒 — think flowing skirts, floral prints, sun hats, and a touch of vintage charm. Gentlemen, feel free to match the elegance! Children are encouraged to wear their Sunday best. The Preserve is absolutely stunning this time of year so it will also be a great photo opportunity!
What to bring:
✔ Your homemade cake (and a small recipe card for display)
✔ Plates, forks, and napkins (we’ll have extras)
✔ A blanket or chairs
✔ Your appetite for sugar and fun
✔️an empty cake box to take home a small slice of each cake you’d like to try
