AZ Queeriosity Goes to the Park

The AZ Queeriosity Social Club was founded by a local community member that was struggling to find a consistent meetup group that fit their needs and desires for social events within the LGBTQ+ community. 

Overall, The AZ Queeriosity Social Club is a joy-driven community for LGBTQ+ adults in the Phoenix Metro area (or anyone that wants to dive to visit!) that want to explore connection, creativity, and curiosity through playful experiences. Through events that highlight local vendors, this club emphasizes developing and expressing our creativity and reigniting that sometimes lost child-like wonder and curiosity for ourselves and our community.

Bring a beverage to sip on and some writing or drawing materials. AZ Queeriosity members will be using nature as our creative inspiration! Attendees may choose to do any of the following on this outing:
~Draw what they see- use the pond, animals, scenery, and people for inspiration
~Write what they guess at- are you the type of person that "people watches" and comes up with stories based on the people and animals you see around you? Write those stories down, get creative and descriptive!
~Act as a muse for people drawing and writing- share ideas, add to their prompts, share suggestions. You may not be creative but you have some neat ideas to contribute:
~Eat up all the creativity our attendees are oozing- You're not good at drawing or making things up but maybe you can gain these skills by soaking it all up and hearing/seeing what other attendees are doing.

We will meet at the library and then walk around the park together. We can walk as a large group, take sitting and watching breaks as needed, and split off into smaller groups if needed. The nice thing about this park is that people can find small and quiet areas away from the crowd while still being easily accessible to the group to rejoin quickly.
