If you have less stretchy or not stretchy garments bring those.If you only have stretchy garments to work with you will need a Universal Stretch or Ballpoint sewing machine needle, and a steady (foot) pedal speed.Thread of matching or similar colour to the garment.A sewing machine. If you don't have one you can borrow one, or sign one out at the library.Accessibility details:This is a neurodiverse centric space. If you are neurodiverse you are welcome here.There is one wheelchair accessible toilet. Bathrooms are all genders.There is no body shaming. All bodies and gender expressions are welcome.The entire place is one level and is solid concrete flooring. There are glass double front doors, they are the only accessible entry and exit.Windows run along one side of the entire space.The lighting is overhead string bulbs, and I provide clip on lapel bike lights to borrow so you can see your work better if you would like.There is no music played during the drop-in, and the only noises are those we make with the sewing machines and the chatting we do. We welcome vocal stims in this space.Please refrain from wearing perfumes and colognes. No strongly floral scented lotions please. Natural oils, basic antiperspirants and deodorants are safe.You are encouraged to bring stim toys, comfort items, snacks, and other things you may need to be comfortable.
