It's a full day of music to honor TWO inspirational musicians who guided our spirit and are missed by so many.
August 3rd, 2025 would have been the 70th Birthday of Craig "Bubba" Bowman. Beloved stalwart of the Clinton County bluegrass music scene. A musical tribute to his legacy will kick of the day at 1pm with many musicians who performed with Bubba will gather to commune with his musical spirit including members of The Last Complete Show, The Gonzo Cowboys, Ytrap String Band, Chuck Darwin & The Knuckle Draggers, and Rock Sal & Grass.
Following this performance, many of those same musicians will join forces with the mighty Blackhand to pay tribute to the musical legacy of Jerry Garcia. This celebration filled Lincoln Square last year in it's first iteration and we're so thrilled by the opportunity to gather again during Ploughman Cider Taproom's observation of The Days Between, 2025. Expect two sets of electric Jerry tunes, perhaps with an acoustic "Old & In The Way" tribute at setbreak.
"I have spent my life
Seeking all that's still unsung
Bent my ear to hear the tune
And closed my eyes to see
When there were no strings to play
You played to me"
This is a FREE show open to the public. All music held Friday & Saturday nights, May-October, will be held on the Art Oasis stage, right outside of Ploughman Cider Taproom (weather permitting). Chairs will be provided, but you are more than welcome to bring your own. Please leave room for passerbys. Thank you for supporting local!
