Participants are encouraged to make a $50 donation and spend the night outdoors on the square, voluntarily giving up one night of comfort to raise awareness of the realities faced by individuals and families who do not have the choice of a safe place to sleep. Throughout the event, Good Samaritan Lodge #336 will offer an all-night free soup kitchen inside the lodge, along with inspiring presentations from local community leaders, nonprofit organizations, and musicians. The weekend will conclude with a community spaghetti dinner on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with donations gratefully accepted.
