Runners will enjoy smooth, flowing singletrack trails that are mostly flat, fast, and beginner-friendly while still being a blast for experienced trail runners. Whether this is your very first trail race or part of your fall training buildup, this event is designed for all ability levels with generous cutoff times, fully stocked aid stations, and a fun summer race atmosphere. This race also serves as a preview of the Mamba 100 course. The Half Marathon route follows the exact same trails used during the Mamba 100, with a shortened section removed to create the official 13.1 mile distance. 🏃 Race Options • 7 Miler • Half Marathon 🎽 Packet Pickup Friday, August 14 from 4:00–6:00 PM at the Wolf River Refuge Trailhead (Start/Finish Area). Race morning pickup will also be available beginning at 6am , but please arrive by 6:30 AM if picking up your bib on race day. The course will be fully marked by Friday at Noon, and runners are welcome to preview the route anytime before dark Friday evening. 🚗 Parking Parking will be at the Wolf River Refuge Trailhead. Once the main parking lot is full, overflow parking will continue on the grass behind the lot. 🥤 Aid Stations -A fully stocked Aid Station will be located around Mile 4.5 of the 7 Mile course. Half Marathon runners will pass fully stocked Aid Stations around Mile 4.5 and Mile 9.5. -The Start/Finish Line Aid Station will be fully stocked with food, music, cooling towels, fans, ice-cold water, and plenty of race-day energy. • 7 Milers will turn around here and head back toward the finish. • Half Marathon runners will continue for several more miles before returning to this same aid station again around Mile 9.5. The Start/Finish Line Aid Station will also be fully stocked with food, music, cooling towels, fans, ice-cold water, and great race-day energy. ⚠️ Race Day Information • This is a cupless race. Please bring a handheld bottle, hydration vest, or another way to carry water. • All orange course markings and flags should stay on your RIGHT side. • There are two short sections where runners will travel both directions, so you may occasionally see flags on both sides of the trail. • Please wear your bib on the FRONT of your body so our photographer can clearly capture your race photos. • All participants will receive a custom finisher medal. 🏆 Post Race Awards Please stick around after the race as we recognize the Top 3 Overall Male and Female finishers along with Age Group Award winners for both race distances.
