Plan to attend the SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2025, 4-8pm Benefit + Silent Auction, hosted by the Memphis Blues Society. This live music benefit + silent auction is being held to raise funds for the House of Mtenzi Museum.

The House of Mtenzi Museum (H.O.M.M.), deemed "The Hidden Jewel of Memphis," is located at 1289 Madison Ave., in midtown Memphis, TN. 
The Museum is a creative, safe space for visual & performance artists, and the Museum exhibits express and preserve Memphis & Mississippi history and culture. Each year, the museum provides unprecedented support to Memphis' impoverished and homeless community! The Museum supports Memphis’ homeless thru multiple events each year. This Includes facilitating the Forgotten Souls Homeless Festival for 25 years!

On Sunday, August 17, 2025, the HOMM front outside and inside entrance was destroyed by a car accident. Many irreplaceable family artifacts and items in the museum were destroyed, along with major building damage. Unfortunately, the museum has been closed for three months, and monthly overhead and expenses still have to be paid.
