This workshop is designed to help you understand the many elements that bring water to life on canvas.

In this skills-focused workshop, I’ll show you how I’ve learned to paint many different types of ocean water — calm bays, rolling waves, reflections, shallow water, and ocean foam.

We begin with guided exercises and demonstrations before heading to the beach to observe how water behaves in real conditions.

Back in the studio, you’ll bring these elements together and begin a small study incorporating the techniques from the day.W

This workshop isn’t about finishing a polished piece, it’s about learning the methods so you can carry them into your own paintings with more confidence and clarity.
