Welcome to Country & Opening Speeches: Opening speaches focusing on this year’s theme, “Youth Culture: Relationship Violence”, Why Are Youth Normalising Unhealthy Behaviours?
Remembrance Moment: Join us in a minute’s silence to honour the victims and families affected by domestic homicide this year.
Symbolic Walk: Take part in a peaceful walk through town to amplify our message and stand united against violence.
Sausage Sizzle: After the walk, enjoy a free sausage sizzle with fellow participants.
Reflection Paddle Out: Immediately following the Desert Blue Connect WAVe you are invited to join Shaun from A Glassy Day Surf Coaching* for a reflection paddle out. Boards and wet suits are provided. Please note: The reflection paddle out is not hosted by Desert Blue Connect and as such DBC does not hold any liability for this event.
