We are beyond excited to welcome you to the 3rd edition of the Intimate Dancing Retreat at the magical The Key Of Life, nestled in the natural beauty of the Dender Valley.

In a world that can feel chaotic and disconnected, this retreat offers a safe and loving space for deep connection, healing, touch and self-exploration. Through dance, breathwork, meditation, contact improvisation and nature, we invite you to come home to yourself and connect authentically with others. Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, we can't wait to dance, breathe and connect with you this July. 🌿

✨ What to expect:
Dance & Contact Improvisation, Breathwork, Wheel of Consent, Boundaries Exploration, Yoga, Meditation, Nature Walks, a Sweatlodge Ceremony guided by Carla & Wim from The Key Of Life, Campfire evenings, Music & Chants and much more.
This retreat works with themes of touch, intimacy, vulnerability and embodiment in a trauma-sensitive and non-judgmental environment. Couples, lovers and singles are all welcome. 💛

👥 Your facilitators
This retreat is guided by Piero Flor Baets, intimacy coach and co-creator of the Intimate Dancing concept. Piero creates a warm, safe and nurturing group environment that encourages transformation and healing, and dreams of a world where self-care and self-actualisation go hand in hand with love, justice and solidarity.

Piero will be supported by Ingrid Depoorter, a dance and movement therapist, Trance Dance Facilitator and Shamanic Breathwork practitioner. Ingrid brings a warm and grounded presence to the group, supporting the process and helping to hold a safe space for everyone. 

Intimate Dancing was originally co-created by Piero and Joke De Winde, dance therapist and professional dancer. Joke has since moved abroad, but her vision and soul remain at the heart of this work. 🌸

The retreat is hosted at The Key of Life by Wim and Carla, two passionate guides deeply rooted in nature, ceremony and healing. They will also guide us through a Sweatlodge Ceremony: an ancient ritual of purification and transformation that will be one of the highlights of the weekend.

🛏️ Accommodation: 
Basic on-site sleeping in a shared space (yurt/hall) or bring your own tent, camper or caravan. Various B&Bs nearby for more comfort. Catering available on-site (€65).

In een wereld die soms chaotisch en afstandelijk kan aanvoelen, biedt deze retreat een veilige en liefdevolle ruimte voor diepe verbinding, heling, aanraking en zelfontdekking. Via dans, ademwerk, meditatie, contact improvisatie en de natuur nodigen we je uit om thuis te komen bij jezelf en authentiek contact te maken met anderen. Of je nu terugkeert of voor het eerst deelneemt, we kijken ernaar uit om deze juli samen te dansen, te ademen en te verbinden. 🌿

Deze retreat werkt met thema's als aanraking, intimiteit, kwetsbaarheid en belichaming in een traumasensitieve en oordeelloze omgeving. Koppels, geliefden en singles zijn allemaal van harte welkom. 💛

👥 Je begeleiders
Deze retreat wordt begeleid door Piero Flor Baets, intimiteitscoach en mede-bedenker van het Intimate Dancing concept. Piero creëert een warme, veilige en ondersteunende groepsomgeving die uitnodigt tot transformatie en heling, en droomt van een wereld waarin zelfzorg en zelfverwezenlijking hand in hand gaan met liefde, rechtvaardigheid en solidariteit.

Piero wordt ondersteund door Ingrid Depoorter, dans- en bewegingstherapeut, Trance Dance Facilitator en Shamanic Ademwerkbegeleider. Ingrid brengt een warme en geaarde aanwezigheid mee naar de groep, ondersteunt de processen en helpt mee een veilige ruimte te houden voor iedereen.

Intimate Dancing werd oorspronkelijk mede gecreëerd door Piero en Joke De Winde, danstherapeut en professioneel danseres. Joke is naar het buitenland verhuisd, maar haar visie en ziel blijven het hart van dit werk inspireren. 🌸

De retreat wordt gehost op The Key Of Life door Wim en Carla, twee gepassioneerde begeleiders die diep geworteld zijn in natuur, ceremonie en heling. Zij begeleiden ons ook door een Zweethutceremonie: een oeroud ritueel van zuivering en transformatie dat een van de hoogtepunten van het weekend zal zijn.
