In 1993, the Battle of Mogadishu claimed the lives of 19 American soldiers. Their comrades' desperate, heroic run for survival became known as "The Mogadishu Mile." This event exists to ensure their names and sacrifice are never forgotten.
Join us on October 4, 2025, at the beautiful Queenslake Horse Farm in Georgetown, KY, for the 5th Annual Mogadishu Mile—a challenging ruck march and run to honor the 18 soldiers and 1 pilot who fell, and all who serve.
This is more than a race; it's a moving tribute. The course will be lined with 19 memorials, each dedicated to a fallen hero.
