Salsa Cookoff

I think your salsa has what it takes to be crowned the best in town? It's time to bring the heat to Tejas!

Join us for our cookoff, local cooks and spice lovers to head for bragging rights, prizes, and the ultimate title of salsa champion.

Rules:

Teams or individuals may enter.

Minimum of half a gallon of salsa per entry.

Salsa must be homemade.

Salsa may be hot, mild, fruit based, roasted, etc.

Teams must provide a ingredient list for allergy purposes.

Set up begins 30 minutes before event.

Teams must bring their own serving utensils.

Tejas will provide chips.

Voting:

Voting is open to the public.

Each judging participant will be given three voting tickets, they will use these tickets to vote for their favorite salsa. At the end of the event, Tejas management will count tickets to reveal the winners.

Prizes:

1st place = $100 Tejas Gift Card + 2 ribeye steaks and seasoning of choice

2nd place = $75 Tejas Gift Card + 1 ribeye steak.

3rd place = $50 Tejas Gift Card
