- **Event Description**: Last year was so much fun… we will be doing the 2nd Annual Georgetown Derby! We heard there will be a race in Kentucky, and we will be watching that later in the afternoon.
Saturday, May 2nd. We will be partnering this year with River & Ranch Provisions for a very special Derby weekend Pop up! 
Everyone is welcome to participate in the race. 
You must have an inflatable costume, your steed is entirely up to you. However it is family friendly. 
We will have the official Race parade of pony’s at 3pm, the race will start at 3:45. It will be one lap up and down 8th street. The winner will receive accolades and maybe a free drink at The Winners Circle! There are no real rules, there was some full contact in last year’s race which made it even funnier.
You can also win if you are dressed in Derby style or have an amazing derby hat. This is all subject to the judges (who can probably be bribed)
