G’day divers! Keen to send off 2025 with an underwater bang? Join us bright and early on 31 December for a club dive at The Monument, Tamar/kanamaluka Estuary. We’ll meet for a briefing at 7:40am, aiming to hit the water for the 8:10am high tide. Don’t miss out – this is always a cracker of a dive!

Dive Site Highlights.
The Monument is a local gem, known for its spectacular early morning conditions. There’s easy entry and exit plus plenty of parking, making the start to your adventure stress-free. The site offers everything from lush kelp forests to rocky drop-offs, teeming with Tassie marine life.

Dive Suitability & Challenges.
This spot suits both Open Water and Advanced divers, but a heads up – The Monument can be challenging! Expect variable visibility and strong water movement, so you’ll need a bit of experience and confidence in the water. Please only join if you’re comfortable with these conditions.

Safety & Equipment.
•	Briefing: 7:40am sharp
•	High Tide: 8:10am
•	DSMB: Required on all Seadragon dives
•	Torch: Recommended for morning or low-light dives.
•	Punctuality: Tidal conditions are everything here, so don’t be late!

Remember, this is not a guided dive – you’ll need to plan and dive within your limits. And as always, this is a strict no-take dive: leave only bubbles, take only memories.

Post-Dive Brunch.
Afterwards, we’re heading to 1069 cafe for a well-deserved brunch and debrief about the morning’s underwater finds. All are welcome, whether you’re a regular or a new face looking to join the club!
