Cour­ti­sa­ne Fes­ti­val, Art Cine­ma OFF­off and Kunst­hal Gent pre­sent two film pro­grams. Cen­te­red around clas­sic works by the Suda­ne­se Film Group, the scree­nings high­light the strug­gles and tri­als of the Suda­ne­se peo­p­le — past and pre­sent — through a broad ran­ge of acti­vist docu­men­ta­ries, grass­roots com­mu­ni­ty films, film essays, fic­ti­on, and expe­ri­men­tal work span­ning five decades.
