Mark Lanegan is de wolf en The Wolf is het nieuwe project van Gentenaars Fernant Zeste, Klaas Poppe en Janis Vancoppenolle.
Samen versmelten deze wolven tot Mark Lanegan op het podium. Legendarische zanger/schrijver Lanegan overleed op 22.02.2022 in zijn huis in Ierland. Numerologisch een mooie datum, maar we kunnen het nog steeds amper hardop zeggen zonder tranen in de ogen. En we zijn blijkbaar niet de enigen die – nog steeds – in ferme adoratie zijn voor de rocklegende. The Wolf brengt een greep uit Mark Lanegans werk opnieuw tot leven op het podium.
