Op zaterdag 20 juni 2026 komt Inhaler opnieuw naar België en dat wil je absoluut niet missen! Na passages in de Lotto Arena en tijdens Crammerock vorig jaar, kan je de jonge Ierse rockers nog eens van dichtbij aan het werk zien op het podium van De Vooruit in Gent. 

Bij de meerderheid van het Vlaamse publiek bekend om ‘These are the days…’ dat over de glooiende heuvels van de Groene Rand van Brussel schalt in Dertigers, maar ze zijn zoveel meer dan dat. Inhaler is een indierockband uit Dublin die al sinds hun schooltijd samen speelt. Zanger en gitarist Elijah Hewson, bassist Robert Keating, gitarist Josh Jenkinson en drummer Ryan McMahon richtten de band op in 2012 in het St Andrews College. Wat oorspronkelijk gewoon was bedoeld als een schoolproject, doopten ze in 2015 officieel tot Inhaler. 

Hun debuutalbum It Won’t Always Be Like This verscheen in 2021 en katapulteerde hen naar grote zalen en festivals, met onder meer een passage op Glastonbury Festival en supportshows voor Kings of Leon. In 2023 volgde Cuts & Bruises, goed voor een nummer 1-positie in Ierland, en begin 2025 brachten ze hun derde album Open Wide uit. Met elke plaat groeit hun sound van een frisse belofte tot een vaste waarde binnen de indierock. Ze zijn niet meer weg te denken uit arena's en op volle festivalweides, dus we zijn ó zo blij dat ze straks De Vooruit komen plat spelen!

Voor de support is er Tom Rowley, gitarist van Milburn en bekend als de ‘Fifth Monkey’ bij Arctic Monkeys. Nu stapt hij eindelijk zelf naar voren met zijn eigen songs, een mix van singer-songwriter en stevige gitaarriffs.
