🔥 Gent heeft besloten Balkan Bonanza keert terug! 🔥
Na een uitverkochte, zweterige en onvergetelijke editie in oktober komt Balkan Bonanza opnieuw naar Gent. Verwacht een nacht vol wilde ritmes, zwoele brass en dansvloervuur. Dit is het DJ-concept van Radio Barbã voor iedereen met vuur in de voeten en feest in het hart.
💥 BALTIC BALKAN (LT) 🇱🇹
Voor editie #2 haalt Radio Barbã een uitzonderlijk trio naar Gent: Baltic Balkan!
Geboren in Vilnius een eeuwenoud kruispunt van culturen mengen ze moderne dansbeats met het rijke erfgoed van de Baltische en Balkanregio. Litouws, Oekraïens, Pools, Roma, Joods, Balkan… alles vloeit samen in één explosieve sound.
Geïnspireerd door Joegoslavische punkrock, iconische films, festivalenergie en eeuwenoude tradities creëren ze een cocktail van beats, branie en pure Balkanchaos.
Een Baltic Balkan-feest voelt alsof het je laatste avond op aarde is vragen staat vrij, stilstaan niet.
In 2023 verscheen hun debuutalbum ‘Bazaar’: een kleurrijke markt vol klanken en dansbare gekte.
🔥 Radio Barbã (BE) – DJ set
Hij is geen gewone DJ hij ís het feest. Een wereldse nomade met een koffer vol beats: Balkangrooves, zigeunermelodieën, gipsypunk en alles daartussen. Van broeierige clubs tot zonovergoten festivals wereldwijd: overal steekt hij het vuur aan.
Zijn motto? Love, Sweat & Happiness.
Zijn missie? Grenzen breken, extase brengen.
Wanneer Radio Barbã draait, gebeurt er iets. De vraag is: blijf jij stilstaan of gaat de dansvloer kapot?

Een muzikale alleskunner, gehard door wereldmuziek én hardcore punk.
Promotor bij Hoppaaa, Space Safari & Vierde Zaal.
Accordeon-cowboy bij Orchestre International du Vetex.
Selector bij het vinyl- en radiocollectief Tweeden Asem.
Voor Balkan Bonanza #2 serveert hij een eclectische warm-up vol cumbia, brass en pure waanzin.

After a sold-out, sweaty and unforgettable October edition, Balkan Bonanza returns to Ghent. Expect a night of wild rhythms, sizzling brass and unstoppable dancefloor fire. This is Radio Barbã’s DJ concept – for everyone with fire in their feet and joy in their heart.

For edition #2, Radio Barbã brings an exceptional trio to Ghent: Baltic Balkan!
Born in Vilnius a historic crossroads of cultures – they blend modern dance beats with the rich heritage of the Baltic and Balkan regions. Lithuanian, Ukrainian, Polish, Roma, Jewish, Balkan… everything merges into one explosive sound.
Inspired by Yugoslav punk rock, iconic films, festival energy and ancient traditions, they craft a cocktail of beats, swagger and pure Balkan chaos.
A Baltic Balkan party feels like your last night on earth – ask anything, just don’t stand still.
