Role Rotation in Bachata is a fast-growing trend in Europe. Instead of assigning roles by gender, the dance is all about musicality and connection, and two partners share the “conversation” of the dance by switching between leading and following within the song. This playful role-switching breaks traditional expectations and often brings more freedom, creativity, and connection on the dance floor. 💫

Our instructor Sanne is a certified Role Rotation Bachata instructor. In this 1-hour workshop, you’ll learn the basic Bachata steps, the idea of “giving and taking” the lead, and of course simple, fun ways to enjoy this type of dance.
