Un nuovo capitolo della programmazione metal di Empiria prende forma tra atmosfere oscure, orchestrazioni sinfoniche e potenza estrema.

Ashen Fields arrivano sul palco di Empiria per presentare A Year Among Ashes, uno show che ruota attorno all’album “So Haggard and so Woe-Begone”, un viaggio sonoro cupo e solenne che fonde Symphonic Death Metal e suggestioni classiche.

Gli Ashen Fields nascono da ex membri dei Path of Sorrow e, dopo numerose date in apertura a band come Methedras, Labyrinth e Opera IX, pubblicano un primo EP di tre brani.
Nel 2025, presso il Blackwave Studio di Fabio Palombi, completano la loro prima fatica discografica: So Haggard and so Woe-Begone, album pubblicato da Ad Noctem Records.
Il disco si distingue per il forte impianto sinfonico, valorizzato dal contributo di strumentisti classici diretti da Gabriele Boschi (Winterage).
Nello stesso anno la band viene scelta come supporto per nomi di rilievo internazionale come Katatonia, Primordial, Cryptosis e Onslaught.
