Teachers are suffering burnout at an unprecedented rate due to the educational demands of teaching in the 21st century. While teachers are encouraged to prioritize self-care, many teachers do not know where to start OR  they may believe they don’t have the time nor support for such endeavors. 

That’s why we created the Extinguishing the Fires of Teacher Burnout Workshop Series. 

These three 3-hour workshops are designed by teachers for teachers to support personal and professional longevity by strengthening mental, physical and emotional resilience through yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices.

In each workshop, you will

*Learn tools and techniques for self-awareness, self-management and emotional regulation
*Practice simple yoga techniques to reduce physical stress and strengthen the body 
*Practice meditation to calm the mind and alleviate mental stress/anxiety 
*Engage in mindfulness practices to enhance well-being
*Learn and adapt activities to support the socio-emotional education of your students and promote well-being
*Learn how these practices align with the Illinois State Teaching Standards
*Educators will earn 9 PD hours through ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education)
*Yoga Instructors earn 9 CEU's upon completion 

Leave with yoga practices for the home, studio and classroom.

2:10-2:45 PM Yoga to Uplift

3:10-4:00 PM Classroom activities/evidence-based practices for the classroom
