Les changements de personnel ne semblent pas avoir d’effet sur la trajectoire de Weird Omen qui, album après album, affine sa formule en trio batterie-guitare-saxophone baryton. Si aujourd’hui il ne reste plus que le saxophoniste Fred Rollercoaster (aussi croisé chez King Khan and The Shrines) du gang d’origine, le groupe semble plus inspiré que jamais sur cet album tellurique. Admirablement bien produit avec ce saxophone qui vrombit dans le spectre bas (« Middle Class »), il voit Weird Omen enchaîner des titres Rock’n’Roll mordants (« I can Stand It ») avec énergie pour un formidable exutoire garage-punk.
