A few weeks ago, one of our precious customers, Stephanie, approached me about hosting a Bar Takeover for Food for Health. During her own battle with cancer, Stephanie was blessed by the care, meals, and support provided by this incredible organization. Today, she volunteers and works for Food for Health, giving back to a mission that meant so much to her during one of the most difficult seasons of her life.

Her story immediately touched our hearts because Food for Health has long held a special place in ours.

Years ago, Robert and I had the privilege of serving as volunteers, preparing nourishing meals for cancer patients and mentoring high school students learning culinary skills through the program. We witnessed firsthand how something as simple as a thoughtfully prepared meal can bring comfort, dignity, and hope to someone facing a health crisis.

The mission is also deeply personal for our family. Many of you know that Robert has courageously faced three battles with cancer. We understand the challenges that come with a diagnosis and the importance of a community that surrounds people with care, compassion, and practical support.

Adding to the significance, Food for Health was founded by our dear friend, Susan Leigh, whose vision, generosity, and commitment to serving others have impacted countless lives. Susan was also a tremendous influence on our decision to move to Geneva years ago, making this partnership feel even more meaningful.

At Chi-cuterie, our mission has always been about more than food. We believe in creating spaces where people gather, connect, heal, celebrate, and find community. That is why Food for Health’s mission resonates so deeply with us. We share a belief that food can nourish not only the body, but also the spirit, and that caring for one another is one of the most powerful ways we can build stronger communities.

We are honored to support Food for Health through this Bar Takeover and invite you to join us in celebrating an organization that continues to bring hope, healing, and nourishment to so many.
