The Southwest Elementary School PTA Spring Vendor Market is a fundraising event that supports our teachers, staff, and students through classroom resources, supplies, and field trip funding.
We are excited to welcome a variety of local vendors and small businesses. To ensure a safe, compliant, and well-balanced event, please review the following guidelines before applying:
🛍 Vendor Details
• Indoor event at Southwest Elementary School
• Event time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Vendor setup begins as early as 9:00 AM
• 10’ x 10’ booth spaces
• Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, and displays
• Booth fee: $50
• Booth with electricity: $60 (very limited availability)
🧾 Application Process
• This is an application-based event
• Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance
• Vendors will be contacted once applications are reviewed and approved
• To maintain variety, vendor categories may be limited
🚫 Vendor Restrictions
• No MLM or direct-sales vendors
• All products must be family-friendly and appropriate for a school setting
🍞 Food & Cottage Food Vendors
• Any vendor selling homemade or canned food items must be properly registered as a Cottage Food Operation in Illinois
• Required registration and labeling must be completed prior to the event
• Vendors without appropriate cottage food registration will not be permitted to sell food items at the market
⚠️ Liability
Vendors are responsible for their own merchandise, equipment, and setup. The Southwest Elementary School PTA and Southwest Elementary School are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
