Workshop | What does good urban design look like in central Geelong?

Join us for an interactive workshop on the urban design and character of central Geelong

In this half-day workshop, you will be working together with a broad cross-section of community members and stakeholders, to unpack what good urban design looks like in central Geelong, now and into the future.

This will include:

a presentation by leading urban design and strategic planning expert, Leanne Hodyl, Managing Director of Hodyl and Co.

a walking tour of the western wedge of central Geelong and the location of the new civic precinct at 137 Mercer Street, and

interactive workshops on what makes up valued and poor character in central Geelong; how these values could be applied to the built form and function of the new civic precinct; and what features would make the new civic precinct valuable to the Geelong community?

Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided.

Due to the interactive nature of this workshop, participant numbers are limited.

Register your attendance today and help shape the future urban design and planning framework for central Geelong.
