The Honours Night will be an annual event and is modelled off the SIMA Waterman’s Ball but with an SBIA twist! The honourees for the evening will be:

Surfer of the Year
Environmentalist of the Year
Service to the Industry
Lifetime Achievement Award
And no, we’re not keeping the Honourees a secret! Our Honourees will be announced once they have accepted their invitation.

Similar to the SIMA Waterman’s Ball, the event will have a big fundraiser element. Our fundraising beneficiaries for the event will be chosen by the Surfer of the Year and Environmentalist of the Year.

One of our goals at SBIA is to connect the industry to the sport, so we’re aligning our event with the 2023 Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach. The event will be held on the Wednesday before Easter and at the start of the contest waiting period, giving us a great opportunity to catch pumping Bells!

Location: The Sands, Torquay VIC
Dress Code: Smart Casual

Your ticket includes a 2-course sit-down dinner and a 4-hour beverage package. We will have some special guests on hand, amazing entertainment and of course, we’ll be auctioning off fundraiser items and memorabilia! To secure your tickets, click here.
