SELF COMPASSION X SELF DEFENCE FOR INNER HEALING

This empowering and insightful workshop offers gentle practices to shift your Inner Critic into a compassionate Inner Mother. This is followed by an exploration of boundaries, voice activation and embodied (yet practical) self-defence techniques, turning your frustration into fuel for your Inner Warrior.
In ‘Inner Mother/Inner Warrior’, you will:
- Understand the role of the Inner Critic and the 3 Components of Self-Compassion
- Meet your Inner Critic - and your Inner Mother (or Loving Witness)
- Learn about the ‘Good Girl Syndrome’, how it can arise alongside your Inner Critic… and how it may be wreaking havoc on your life as an adult
- Gain clarity on what areas and with whom you need to establish boundaries with so you can approach the busiest time of year with grace and gentle resolution
- Discover your Inner Warrior, whether she has emerged from wanting to protect you or from long-held frustration and anger
- Activate your voice for both healing and self-defence
- Explore embodied (yet practical and effective!) self-defence techniques, and their psychological and Traditional East Asian Medicine correlations

Guided by two highly experienced facilitators, Beth Milner and Sensei Sheryn Gung, you’ll explore the balance of softness and strength — and discover that compassion and courage are not opposites, but allies. Leave feeling grounded, calm, kinder to yourself and more connected to your power.
