🤸♀️ Adults Handstand Workshop with Steph & Camille 🤸♂️
Join international handbalancing artists Steph Mouat and Camille Bontout for a deep-dive into creative, movement-based handstands.
Steph is a France-based Australian circus artist who trained at NICA and Lido, has performed with companies including Circus Oz and Squarehead Production, and now teaches professional handbalancing in Toulouse.
Camille grew up training in New Caledonia before studying at Balthazar, ENACR and the Académie Fratellini in Paris, developing a unique style that blends strong technique with fluid, contemporary movement.
We are incredibly lucky to have both of them in the studio – this is a rare opportunity to train with two world-class handbalancers who live and breathe this work.
This workshop explores a movement-based approach to handbalancing, blending
acro-dance. We'll look at handstands as more than just holding a static position: working on
transitions, flow, moving while in handstand, and building the endurance to hold handstands
longer.
We'll start with a warm-up, then move through exercises building strength, flexibility, and
body awareness. You'll work on fundamentals like hand placement and finding balance, plus
drills for one-arm handstands.
The aim is to work on solid technical foundations while exploring a more dynamic, creative
way of working with handstands.
Open to all levels with some handstand experience. Basic fitness and ability to bear weight
on your hands required.
