Gregory Day is a writer, poet and musician whose debut novel, The Patron Saint of Eel, won the prestigious Australian Literature Society Gold Medal in 2006 and was included on the VCE Literature syllabus for ﬁve years. He is a regular contributor to the literary pages of The Age and The Australian newspapers. Gregory will be joined by Deakin University's Associate Professor Maria Takolander for an evening not to be missed. Under discussion will be Gregory’s latest novel A Sand Archive. Hailed by 2018 Miles Franklin winner Michelle De Kretser as a ‘bravura work’, this ground-breaking book crosses between fact and ﬁction to produce a memorable reading experience.
