- **Event Description**: After more than two decades of supporting our amazing Wrekenton community, it’s time for something truly exciting — a brand‑new chapter for our Slimming World family.

I’m thrilled to announce that our group is relaunching at our new home: Springwell Community Hub, Lanchester Avenue, with sessions every Thursday at 5.30pm & 7pm.

This move marks more than just a change of venue. It’s a chance to grow, evolve and welcome even more people into a warm, supportive, and inclusive space where every journey matters.

Whether you’re managing diabetes, stopping smoking, pregnant or a new mum, navigating menopause, recovering from weight‑loss surgery, or using weight‑loss medication — you are welcome here. Our mission has always been about real‑life support, mindset shifts, and long‑term success, and I’m so proud of how our group continues to embrace every member’s story.

After 25 years as a Slimming World Consultant, I can honestly say I’ve never been more excited for what’s ahead. A fresh venue, a fresh energy, and the same friendly, caring group ready to help you achieve your goals.
