Al has lectured for 14 years at the Battleship Cove WWII Museum in Fall River, Massachusetts. He also started the WWII Weekend Open House Program at the Museum. He traveled to Europe many times to study the military operations area. He has led trips to the Normandy, Bastogne, and Western Germany areas, and has participated in tours as a docent using WWII equipment and vehicles.
