Join us for one of the Gaston Business Association’s most anticipated annual events—the Salute to Business Gala—an evening dedicated to recognizing the individuals and businesses making a lasting impact on Gaston County’s economic and community landscape.

Why it matters:
Since its inception in 2003, the Salute to Business Gala has honored Gaston’s visionary leaders who contribute not only to economic development, but also to the social and cultural fabric of our region. This celebration brings together our county’s most influential changemakers for a night of connection, inspiration, and recognition.

What’s next:
During the evening, we are proud to present three prestigious awards recognizing excellence in leadership, development, and innovation:

Spirit of the Carolinas (sponsored by South State Bank): Honoring Tim Efird of Standard Distributors, a leader whose long-term contributions have shaped Gaston County’s economic, community, and cultural growth.

Spirit of the Economy: Awarded to BEAM Construction of Cherryville, NC, for their outstanding commitment to driving economic growth and business success.

Spirit of Main Street (sponsored by MECA Commercial Real Estate): Recognizing the Helix/R & Centennial Park Streetscape Project in Cramerton, NC, for enhancing prosperity, vitality, and quality of life in Gaston’s downtown communities.
