We will gather, as we do every month on the evening of the third Thursday, to share our songs, tunes, readings, stories, toasts, jokes, and each other’s company.  It’s not a concert night, but rather, a shared folk experience.  And the Pour House has plenty of soft drinks, wines, beers, ciders, cocktails, coffee drinks, and lovely foods to make it a full and complete evening.  

In celebration of THE NEW YEAR, think of songs about MOVING FORWARD, HAVING HOPE, ENJOYING PROSPERITY, and SHARING NEW BEGINNINGS.

Also, this month we celebrate DR MARTIN LUTHER KING JR DAY.  This inspires such themes as FIGHTING FOR JUST CAUSE, RISING ABOVE ADVERSITY, and PRESERVING HUMAN DIGNITY.

Last, but certainly not least, In honor of ROBERT BURNS DAY, bring songs in celebration of ALL THINGS SCOTTISH.

These are all great January themes to inspire you, but as always you’re invited to bring whatever your heart sees fit.

So… think about your possible themes, bring your money for food, drink, and tips, bring your music, songs, and instruments, and bring your friends!  All are welcome!  All will have the opportunity to contribute!
