As always, the first step is for all the City departments to be notified of the auction date and then they begin to pull the Surplus items from each location. All items are delivered to the back lot located at 800 N. Broad Street. All-Star plus items are delivered no earlier than three days before the date of sale. Friday, April 17 from 10 AM to 1 PM you may view Auction items. Pictures will be added. Once items are delivered to auction site. Unfortunately, this is always a last-minute option. All items are supplies and tools purchased by the City Of Gastonia for use in Gastonia departments throughout the year.

Auction details – all items will be sold live, not online, not prior to Auction date. Auction begins promptly at 10 AM. The doors to the auction will open at 9 AM. You will need to bring a state issued ID in order to register to bid at the auction. There is an additional 10% buyers premium that will be charged on top of your final bid. If paying with a credit card, there is also a 4% credit card fee. You may also pay with cash, check, Zelle.
