Author Event: Kari Lavelle

It's time to welcome award-winning author, Kari Lavelle to Gaston County from Austin, TX! As a kid reading books, as a speech pathologist helping children communicate, and now as a writer creating stories, Kari has always had a love for words.

Readers will discover amazing animals like a pretty pink fairy armadillo, a precious pygmy hippo, and fuzzy wuzzy wombat. Fun animal facts and information about camouflage and other sneaky animal tricks are included. Other titles by Kari: WE MOVE THE WORLD, illustrated by Nabi H. All tickets include a copy of Kari's new book, a presentation from Kari, a book signing (limit 4 books per person), and a donation to the Gaston Day School Library!
