Registration and skills assessment for first time clinic attendees 
Introduction/ Welcome & Safety 
Get into groups
Group Rotations start
       Station 1  Water Knowledge Discussing Lake Michigan Hazards
       Station 2  Dry Land Drills and Games
       Station 3  Water Skills and Drills
       Station 4  Prone Paddling (rescue boards)
       Station 5  Water Rescue Drills/ Game / Relays
Each Clinic will end with competitions for those that want to participate
Group Social
* some clinics will introduce kayaking and SUP (Stand up paddle)

Cost   No Fee

Requirements: 
*Ages 6-14     *Guardian must remain on property during clinic
*Be able to swim 10 feet without touching the bottom     *Stroke technique is not important.  
*Be comfortable going underwater     *Must be able to follow instructions

Clinic #2  Sun  June 28   9 am – 11 am  (arrive by 8:30)  
*This clinic will not follow the std format, this is a special opportunity to learn from special guest Alex Sandler from Detroit open water swim and prone paddle coach
45 min prone paddle instruction/ 45 min open water swim instruction
Clinic #3  Thursday July 23  5:30 pm – 7:30 pm   (arrive by 5)
Clinic #4  Tuesday July 28  5:30 pm – 7:30 pm    (arrive by 5) 
Make up or Bonus clinic in August TBD

Pop up Clinics at Indiana Dunes National Park
Monday June 15  West Beach  2 pm – 4 pm
Monday June 29  West Beach  2 pm – 4 pm
Monday July 20  Portage River Walk  2 pm – 4 pm
*Pre-registration is not required.  These are two back to back abbreviated 45 min clinics.
