Attended by hundreds of area children and parents the past four years, Kids in Nature Day 2026 is back again by popular demand. KIND connects kids with nature through fun, interactive, and hands-on activities. We will have a variety of live animal exhibits, including the very popular birds-of-prey, reptiles, amphibians, cool “bugs,” aquatic life, and more, as well as over 20 different interactive and fun nature-oriented activity stations.

Our whimsical musician will be onsite again for interactive musical fun, and Ranger Rick will be all around the event greeting the kids and posing for photos. There will be ice cream and other treats available onsite for purchase.

Walk down the paths along the field, through the woods, and down by the lake to discover the many different activities with plenty of space to not feel crowded. Earn cool prizes by getting your activity cards stamped and have fun!

Pre-registering via the Tickets link is encouraged to let us know you are coming but not required to attend.
