New Year's Eve at the Arcade! Costume Contest and Countdown to Midnight!

NEW YEAR, NEW SKIN: The SIDE QUEST ARCADE 2026 NEW YEAR'S EVE Costume Bash! 

LoL, OKAY so we know New Year’s Eve falls on a Wednesday this year and while we tried to file a complainant with the calendar developers, they just would not accept it....But that’s fine BECAUSE At Side Quest Arcade, we don’t wait for the weekend to party. We are staying open LATE (until 1 AM!) on NEW YEAR'S EVE to PARTY and bring in the new year :)))

YES--we will again be doing FREE CHAMPAGNE at midnight (must be over 21 w/ valid ID)

The Theme: CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER It’s time to shed your 2025 skin...Are you tired of being just "Bob from Garland"? Well, tonight you can be Bob from Beetlejuice! (Or Silent Bob... or SpongeBob...or builder bob or.... you get the idea). From Mario to Master Chief, we want to see your looks!!!

We’ve been blown away by everyone's creativity in the past, so we’re upping the ante with a total of 3 categories for costume contest all with PRIZES. We are looking for:

1. Best "Pixel Perfect" (Accuracy): You look like you literally walked off the screen. Every detail is correct.

2. Best "Co-Op Mode" (Group/Couples): It’s dangerous to go alone! Bring a Player 2. (Think Pac-Man & Ghosts, Mario & Luigi, or the whole Scooby Doo gang).

3. The "Glitch" Award (Creative/Funny): Low budget? Recycled materials? Did you make a Tetris block out of an Amazon box? We love it. If it’s funny and creative, you’ve got a shot.

THE LOOT (Prizes for Top 3 Overall): We aren't playing around. The judges will pick the top three costumes from the night!

1st Place: The "Golden Ticket" Package – 1 DOZEN FREE VISITS to the arcade + Tokens + Swag Bag (~$200 Value!)

2nd Place: Token Pack + Side Quest Swag Bag

3rd Place: Side Quest Swag Bag (Wear it with pride!)

THE RUN OF SHOW:

• 10:00 AM - 1:00 AM: MARATHON MODE. We are open all day. Get your practice rounds in early.
• 11:00 PM: JUDGEMENT TIME. The Costume Contest begins! Strut your stuff for the judges.
• 11:30 PM: WINNERS ANNOUNCED. Secure the bag before the ball drops.
• 12:00 AM: GAME OVER 2025, LET'S GO 2026! We count down to 2026 and hit start on a new level!
