- **Event Description**: Join us in the makerspace to learn how to crochet a classic granny square.About this EventThe granny square is a traditional pattern that is the foundation for many different projects such as blankets, bags, sweaters, hats and so much more! In this class, you’ll learn the basics of creating your very own granny square.*This is not a class to learn crochet. Attendees should be comfortable with basic crochet stitches including chain, slip stitch, single crochet and double crochet.*Hooks and yarn are provided but supplies are limited. Participants are encouraged to bring their own if possible.Our library programs are free and in high demand. If you register and can no longer attend, please cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance so we can accommodate others. Repeated no-shows may affect your ability to register for future events. Thank you for your cooperation!
