Join us for two wonderful community events designed to inspire, educate, and bring families together!

� Family Day at the Museum – Saturday, February 7 | 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Bring the whole family for a fun and meaningful day at the museum! This month’s Family Day features a presentation by Lois Elloitt with a hands-on activity with Empty Bowls of Douglas County, helping raise awareness for hunger in our community. Kids and adults alike will enjoy participating in decorating bowls and learning how we can all make a difference. Other activities include Valentine crafts, Scavenger Hunt and WNC games center. Admission is free during Family Day, so don’t miss out!  

� Heritage Lecture Series – Thursday, February 12 | Doors open at 6:00 PM, Lecture at 6:30 PM
We’re excited to welcome David & Gayle Woodruff as they present “No Limits–No Boundaries: Tenacious Women of the Eastern Sierra.” 
Discover fascinating stories of remarkable women who shaped the history and spirit of the Eastern Sierra region. Their perseverance and pioneering spirit continue to inspire us today.  Admission: $5.00 at the door - Free admission for members of the Alpine County, Dayton Valley, and Douglas County Historical Societies.

Each of these events host a drawing in December for Bookstore Gift Certificates so remember to enter at each event.  The more Family Day and Heritage Lecture events you participate in, the greater your chances of winning!
