You are invited to enjoy a fun-filled Family Day at the Museum from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., while supporting the important work of the Douglas County Welfare Group (DAWG).  The event will highlight DAWG presentation about their programs that help community members care for their pets and promote the health and well-being of animals throughout Douglas County.  Guests can enjoy family-friendly activities at the museum while learning more about how DAWG supports local pets and their owners. The event is an opportunity for families to come together, have fun, and help make a difference for animals in our community.

Each time you visit us on Family Day you earn a chance to win a $25 gift certificate from our bookstore. The more Family Day programs you attend, the greater your chances of winning! The drawing will be held on December 07, 2026. Need not be present to win. Family Day at the Museum is sponsored in part by: the WNC Administration for Children and Families and the Dennis R Little Trust.
