Volunteer XC Ski & Winter Activities Ambassadors assist the Visitor Experience and Stewardship departments by patrolling specific carriage roads in the Preserve on cross-country skis, snowshoes or fat-tire snow bikes, conditions permitting. Responsibilities include informing, assisting and educating all trail users. Volunteers will also promote environmentally sound and socially responsible land use. XC Ski & Winter Activities Ambassadors represent the Preserve as ambassadors to the community. Volunteers must be thoughtful, respectful, courteous, consistent and considerate in all interactions with visitors, ensuring visitors have a welcoming, educational and inclusive experience.
