Community Solstice Lantern Making Workshop

Join us for a Solstice Lantern making workshop at Johnson Hall Opera House on Sunday, December 21st at 2:00pm. We will provide the materials and instructions you just bring the creativity! The lanterns will be made with the intention of joining us for the Solstice Parade & Celebration on Sunday 12/21 at 4:00pm.

The parade will start at Johnson Hall Opera House and wind it's way down to the waterfront where we will celebrate the return of the light with our handmade lanterns, Solstice dancing and tutorial from the Dancing Witches! There will be fire pits with hot chocolate and smore's as well as the opportunity to throw your grievances and intentions into the solstice flames! Enjoy solstice storytelling about the threads that connect celebrations from around the world since the beginning of time!
